Thousands of people took to the streets of Milan on Saturday, May 20, to ask for a stop to the building of walls and to demand a better system of reception and integration for migrants and refugees. The march was promoted by different supporters, including local authorities, politicians and many civil society organizations. It was a fruitful exchange among people of diverse origins that will hopefully help us strengthen a future centered on the value of human beings, without biases or discrimination based on nationality, religious beliefs or skin color.
