In Germania tutte le tutele contro la discriminazione sono contenute nella Costituzione e nella Legge sulla Parità di Trattamento (Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz -"AGG"). Per celebrare il 10° anniversario dell'AGG, l'Agenzia Federale Anti-Discriminazione ha commissionato un parere. Quest'ultimo chiede una riforma di legge per consentire alle vittime di intervenire più efficacemente contro la discriminazione. Il termine per fare ricorso sarà esteso e le associazioni potranno avviare le procedure legali per agevolare il risarcimento delle vittime. Qui è possibile leggere il parere.
