Une loi sur les testaments de vie, qui permettent aux individus d'exprimer leurs préférences quant à la manière dont ils souhaitent être traités dans certains situations où ils n'auraient pas la capacité de prendre ou de communiquer leurs décisions, sera défendue au Parlement italien fin janvier. Cela constitue une étape fondamentale en vue d'assurer le droit des personnes à l'auto-determination, indique l'Associazione Luca Coscioni, qui défend depuis longtemps la mise en place d'une telle loi. Une réglementation plus humaine sur les décisions touchant à la fin de la vie est donc attendue.
