Suite au sommet Italie-Afrique, l'Italie a dévoilé son nouveau plan en matière d'accueil des migrants : 10 milliards de fonds européens prévus pour sept pays africains en échange d'un contrôle plus strict aux frontières et d'une coopération renforcée pour le retour des migrants clandestins (un accord qui n'est pas sans rappeler celui passé avec la Turquie). Des "hotspots" seront mis en place, dont des "hotspots" flottants, afin que "personne ne s'échappe", selon le ministre de l'intérieur. Une mesure extrêmement préoccupante en matière de respect des droits des demandeurs d'asile.
