El Instituto Nacional de Estadística lituano ha anunciado que las mujeres en Lituania han ganado un 14.3% menos que los hombres en 2015, y que la brecha salarial de género ha aumentado un 0,6% respecto a 2014. Los sectores financieros y de seguros son los que concentran la brecha más grande, un 38.5%, mientras que en el sector de la información y las comunicaciones es de un 29.5%, en servicios sociales y de salud un 26.3%, un 25.6% en la industria de fabricación, el 24.4% en venta y reparación de vehículos, y un 29.7% en otros servicios al cliente.
