Platforms like Facebook and YouTube could soon be forced to use upload filters, or bots, to scan every upload to see if it contains copyrighted material. But the bots are really bad at identifying what should and should not be allowed.

The EU is currently deciding on the guidelines for enforcing the Copyright Directive. We want them to share the guidelines.
