Senate since October 2015, but associations and unions keep protesting.
Approved by the Parliament 15 months ago, the law, which favors a tempered jus solis solution, is still waiting to be approved by the Senate and implemented. But with Renzi's resignation and the anticipated elections in June, the law may never be carried out, so L’Italia Sono Anch’io and Italiani senza cittidinananza are holding protests every Tuesday of February in Milan and Rome to highlight the need to recognize "invisible Italians" and give them equal rights.
