Węgierski Związek Swobód Obywatelskich złożył skargę przeciwko dostawcy internetu i operatora sieci komórkowej Telenor, dążąc do uchylenia przez Trybunał Konstytucyjny bezprawnej ustawy, który zezwala na retencje danych telekomunikacyjnych i internetowych (dotyczących tożsamości osoby dzwoniącej, długości połączenia, częstotliwości komunikacji itp.) przez 6 miesięcy. Przetrzymywanie takich danych stanowi poważne naruszenie podstawowego prawa do prywatności i ochrony danych osobowych.
