L'Ombudsman ceco ha chiesto alla Corte Costituzionale di abrogare le leggi di varie città ceche che vietano di sedersi su scalini o muretti. A suo parere, queste leggi violano la libertà di movimento e sono incostituzionali. La sentenza della corte potrebbe diventare un precedente per altre città. L'obiettivo di queste disposizioni restrittive è di evitare il disordine pubblico e di tutelare le aree verdi e l'estetica della città. Ma questo significa che chiunque si sieda per strada con un gelato sta commettendo un reato.
