Insieme alla Dutch Association of Defence Counci, lo studio legale Prakken d'Oliveira ha avviato un procedimento contro lo stato olandese perché i servizi di intelligence olandesi da anni intercettano gli avvocati. Lo scorso anno il ministro degli interni, Ronald Plasterk, aveva definito la denuncia dello studio Prakken d'Oliveira parzialmente ammissibile, ma si era rifiutato di intraprendere misure per proteggere il diritto degli avvocati al privilegio giuridico. Gli avvocati ritengono che le intercettazioni violino la Convenzione Europea sui Diritti Umani e la normativa comunitaria.
