Il Senato polacco ha approvato una controversa legge che rende illegale definire i campi di concentramento nazisti come "campi della morte polacchi". In generale, la cosiddetta legge sull'olocausto punisce chi attribuisce responsabilità ai polacchi per le atrocità commesse dai nazisti durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Le legge ha provocato dissidi diplomatici tra Varsavia e Israele e il governo americano ha chiesto al parlamento polacco di non approvarla. Quando la legge entrerà in vigore, le definizioni vietate pronunciate in Polonia o altrove potranno costare fino a 3 anni di carcere.
