Vitit Muntarbhorn ha dichiarato che il suo monito è rivolto a tutto il mondo, considerando omicidi, stupri, mutilazioni, torture, detenzioni arbitrarie, persecuzioni e aggressioni fisiche e mentali contro le persone LGBT in tutto il mondo. "Oltre 70 paesi criminalizzano tuttora le relazioni omosessuali e in alcuni di questi è prevista la pena di morte", ha aggiunto Muntarbhorn.
