Venerdì 13 ottobre, il presidente polacco Andrzej Duda lo ha firmato e convertito in legge

Il presidente polacco ha convertito in legge il disegno sul finanziamento delle organizzazioni non governative che potrà essere usato per tagliare i fondi alle associazioni le cui mission sono in contrasto con le posizioni del partito di governo. Le organizzazioni internazionali per i diritti umani e una coalizione di ONG nazionali hanno fatto appello al presidente Andrzej Duda affinché metta il veto sulla legge. La norma crea un nuovo organismo, l'Istituto per la Libertà Nazionale, che controllerà la distribuzione dei fondi pubblici di governo e UE tra le 100,000 ONG in Polonia.
