"La decisione presa dalle aziende - in termini di rispetto delle risorse umane, investimenti, forniture, addirittura marketing - possono avere un grande impatto sui diritti umani", ha dichiarato l'Alto Commissario ONU, Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, nell'annunciare gli standard.
