Julian King, parlando davanti alle elezioni di domenica, ha ricordato che un'agenzia per la sicurezza informatica UE più robusta potrebbe aiutare gli stati membri e difendere le elezioni dagli "attacchi ibridi". Come esempio positivo ha citato il nuovo "centro di eccellenza" finlandese sulla guerra ibrida, concepito per aiutare i paesi UE a difendersi dagli attacchi.
