Le autorità olandesi stanno aumentando le loro richieste di informazioni a Facebook. Nella prima metà dell'anno, le agenzie governative hanno chiesto dati 41 volte (relativi a 45 account Facebook), rispetto alle 43 di tutto lo scorso anno. Nel 56% dei casi, Facebook ha divulgato i dati (rispetto al 36% circa dello scorso anno), scrive il gigante di Internet in un report di metà anno. Rispetto ad altri paesi europei, il numero di richieste fatte in Olanda non è molto alto. In Svezia, per esempio, sono stati richiesti dati di 334 account e nell'80% dei casi le richieste sono state soddisfatte.
