Il Parlamento Lituano ha respinto un emendamento alla Costituzione che riconoscerebbe ai cittadini il diritto di presentare direttamente un ricorso alla Corte Costituzionale. Con l'emendamento si è provato ad ampliare l'elenco di soggetti autorizzati a presentare ricorso alla Corte direttamente, conferendo tale diritto ai cittadini e ai garanti. I parlamentari hanno votato contro in quanto non vogliono fomentare "ulteriore attivismo costituzionale".
