Lunedì la Norvegia è diventata l'ultima nazione europea a proporre il divieto di velo integrale come il burqa e il niqab. La proposta riguarda tutte le strutture scolastiche. Le operatrici che si rifiutassero di obbedire al divieto perderebbero il lavoro e le studentesse potrebbero essere espulse dai loro corsi di studio. "Gli indumenti che coprono il volto impediscono la comunicazione che è la chiave di apprendimento per gli studenti", ha detto il Ministro dell'Istruzione Torbjorn Roe Isaksen. "La Norvegia è una società aperta in cui tutti dovrebbero potersi vedere in volto l'un l'altro."
