L'Hungarian Civil Liberties Union ha portato alla Corte Costituzionale Ungherese e alla Corte Europea dei Diritti Umani il caso di sei giornalisti cui è stato vietato l'ingresso al Parlamento Ungherese. I giornalisti stavano intervistando alcuni parlamentari in un'area dell'edificio del Parlamento dove il presidente aveva proibito le interviste. HCLU fornisce sostegno legale gratuito ai giornalisti, sostenendo che il divieto costituisce una limitazione incostituzionale alla libertà di stampa, poiché il dovere della stampa è di informare i cittadini sugli eventi pubblici.
