Cuando el discurso del odio capta nuestra atención en los medios de comunicación, en general, está relacionado con una noticia con sangre y repercusiones duraderas. Pero es importante distinguir entre diferentes tipos de discurso de odio, y nosotros, como ciudadanos, periodistas y diseñadores de políticas debemos prestar una "atención bien calibrada y cuidadosa a los distintos tipos de discurso de odio", dice Nazila Ghanea.

"De hecho, muchas veces deberíamos ignorar el discurso de odio" porque de lo contrario solo contribuimos a alimentarlo.
