Un blog neerlandés es el objetivo de una campaña de boicot publicitario lanzada por más de 140 mujeres. En una carta abierta, periodistas de televisión, políticas y una economista importante acusan a la web GeenStijl de denigrar a las mujeres, de intimidación en línea, racismo y homofobia. La carta señala a empresas conocidas como Rabobank y el parque temático Efteling, así como al Ministerio de Defensa por "pagar los sueldos de los trolls más influyentes de internet". Otras marcas famosas como la cervecera Grolsch, Ikea y la oficina de impuestos holandesa han decidido retirar sus anuncios.
