A Czech Radio broadcasting van was repeatedly attacked on February 6. The incident occurred during a demonstration in Prague by the group Block against Islam. Several attackers tried to enter and disrupt the broadcast, and ultimately disconnected the power line. The reporter asked a nearby police patrol for help but was met with a dismissive attitude from the officers. Czech Radio is urging the police department to investigate the incident and strongly objects to any restrictions on freedom of speech and violations of democratic principles.
