Deputy Prime Minister Meglena Kuneva recently announced that refugees and asylum seekers in Bulgaria will be subject to sanctions if they don't let their children go to school or if they reject a job proposal. "If refugees want to exercise all the rights that Bulgarian legislation has to offer, they also need to meet all the requirements - their children must attend school and if they receive a job offer, they should sign it," Ms. Kuneva said to Bulgarian news agency BTA.
