Pope Francis has ordered the construction of showers in the restrooms under the colonnade in St. Peter's Square, to be used by the homeless. "In Rome it is easier to find a sandwich than a place for washing oneself," was said some time ago by a homeless person to Bishop Krajewski, who works with Pope Francis, giving them the idea to build the facilities. Other Roman churches are imitating the Vatican.
