She said that any EU citizen living in the UK with five years' residence will be granted UK "settled" status. But EU 27 leaders appeared unimpressed: After May finished her speech, not a single EU leader commented or asked a question, according to a source, and the the3million, a group representing EU citizens living in the UK, called May’s offer "pathetic."
