Anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders was brought to court 18 month after he led a chant at a rally calling for fewer Moroccans in the Netherlands. The leader of the Dutch Freedom Party is being accused of racial discrimination and encouraging hatred. The trial starts on Monday but Wilders will not attend at the courtroom in the city of Schiphol, calling case "a travesty." The party leader has been advocating for many years against Islam, calls for banning the Koran and closing mosques in the country. If convicted he faces a year in prison and a fine.
