Un attivista dell'organizzazione No Somos Delito ("Non siamo criminali") è stato multato per aver partecipato nel dicembre 2014 ad una delle più grandi manifestazioni contro la controversa "legge bavaglio" in Spagna. L'attivista è accusato di aver promosso una manifestazione non autorizzata preventivamente. Ha appellato la multa e l'udienza si è tenuta il 18 ottobre. La multa è stata pesantemente criticata, poiché riflette un'interpretazione della legge che rende illegale qualunque manifestazione che avvenga senza preventiva autorizzazione, in conflitto con la giurisprudenza della Corte EDU.
