Watch: Leaving the Calais Jungle

Bewar, from Iraq, has been living in the Calais "Jungle" until very recently, when he and others were bused to a reception center near Marseille. He is happy to finally leave, but uncertainty awaits.

"Even I don't know where I'm going, in which direction, I don't know," Bewar says. He hopes to make it to England, to find work and have his girlfriend join him.

This video from the UNHCR gives a personal look at the frustrations, worries, and dreams of one man hoping to find his place in Europe. For so many thousands like Bewar, the present is dark and the future is unknown; to show your support for their search for a place in Europe, watch and share this video.
