Two Romani boys who were denied enrollment at Pesi Elementary School in Ostrava, Czech Republic, have won their case before the local court with joint legal representation from the European Roma Rights Centre and the Forum for Human Rights. The District Court of Ostrava-Poruba decided on March 1 that the elementary school used enrollment criteria to discriminate against the children based on their ethnicity.
