Journalists around the world are facing retaliation for reporting on the Panama Papers scandal. The corruption reaches so deep that it is causing the parent company of one major Spanish paper, El Pais, to sue another outlet, El Confidencial. The latter has called the case the "largest and most unprecedented attack on press freedom in our country." Courtney Radsch, advocacy director at the Committee to Protect Journalists, is not surprised that journalists face retaliation for reporting corruption, saying, "We know that it is one of the most dangerous beats for journalists."
